The table cloth from my great-grandmother, which survived both World Wars, gives me the impression of being connected to my roots. All the experiences discussed at the table, sitting together for a meal or to play. The connection of the generations becomes vivid through this textile, it became an inevitable accessory of family feasts that I try to preserve for my own grandchildren.
Anna Jankó, Budapest, Hungary
